These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Tukd app ("Tukd", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Tukd, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. The Service

Tukd helps you import, organize, categorize, and extract text from screenshots, including AI-powered categorization and OCR. Features may evolve over time.

2. Your Account

You sign in using Apple or Google. You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure and for activity that occurs under it. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract in your country.

3. Your Content

You retain ownership of the screenshots and content you import. You grant us a limited licence to store and process your content solely to provide the service to you (for example, to upload, display, categorize, and extract text from it). You are responsible for the content you import and confirm you have the right to use it. You must not use Tukd to store or share unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: use the service for any unlawful purpose; infringe others' intellectual property or privacy; attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or compromise the app or its security; or misuse the service in a way that harms us or other users.

5. AI Features

Categorization and text extraction are produced by automated systems and may be inaccurate or incomplete. They are provided to assist you, not as a substitute for your own judgement. Do not rely on them where accuracy is critical.

6. Paid Plans, Pricing & Billing

Tukd may offer optional paid features and subscriptions (collectively "Premium").

The current price, billing period, free allowances, and the features included in any plan are shown in the app at the point of purchase, and may change over time.
We may introduce, modify, remove, or re-package free and paid features, and adjust pricing and free-tier limits, at any time. Where a change affects an existing subscription it will take effect in accordance with the app store's rules, which may require your consent before a price increase applies to you.
Purchases are processed by Apple through In-App Purchase and charged to your Apple ID. Auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your device Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions.
Any free trial or introductory offer, if made available, will be described at purchase. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with its policies; we generally cannot grant refunds directly.

7. Intellectual Property

The Tukd app, including its name, design, and software, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our brand or software except the limited right to use the app.

8. Third-Party Services

Tukd relies on third parties (including Apple, Google, Supabase, and Anthropic). Your use of the app may also be subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for their services.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

10. Termination

You may stop using Tukd and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the service. On termination, the licences you grant us end, subject to legal retention requirements.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide notice in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
